Laura Lehmann will officially represent the Philippines in the Miss World 2017 pageant in China. Lehman bested 34 other candidates during the Miss World Philippines 2017 held on September 3, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Lehman, also a former University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) / Ateneo courtside reporter, landed first runner up during the Binibining Pilipinas 2014. Today, three years later, Lehmann wowed the judges with her final answer – that pageants like Miss World should be celebrated, not protested, because these change and empower women.
