Korean Series My Secret Romance Outperforms Hwarang on Philippine TV

After the success on Philippine TV of South Korean hit action-drama Strong Girl Bong Soon, which registered a massive 5.7% during its peak episode, GMA Heart of Asia’s newest offering, My Secret Romance, performs superbly in the primetime block ratings game.

The said Korean romance-comedy series featuring the love story of a young businessman and his nutritionist continues to beat its primetime block counterparts. As of this writing, Hwarang, which airs on ABS-CBN, reached its peak last December 4, 2017 with an average rating of 4.1%. This falls short of My Secret Romance’s 5.8% peak last November 29, 2017, based on preliminary and overnight data of AGB Nielsen Philippines, National Urban TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM) People Ratings.

My Secret Romance is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Sung Hoon and Song Ji-eun and produced by Orion Cinema Network (OCN). Meanwhile, Hwarang is under the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) series which features Park Seo-joon, Go A-ra and Park Hyung-sik.
